0) Pre-kickoff

Goal: start prepared & focused.

• 1:1 roadmap with me (Bogdan): align goals (first Rust job / lead a Rust project / startup) and build a custom plan.
• Rust Fundamentals access: a practical reference you’ll keep using while we build production-grade Rust software.
• Weekly Momentum Calls: live help to keep you moving.

1) Immersion 1/2 — Guided project

Goal: ship a working V1 fast, learn by solving hard problems

• Sprint rhythm: plan → build → review → iterate.
• Architect with type-driven design and modularity; use TDD as an iteration tool.
• Build concurrent systems; add observability/security and ship to production.
• Design robust failure paths (contextual tracing, idiomatic failure recovery, etc.).

2) Immersion 2/2 — Capstone project

Goal: own a system end-to-end, make design and implementation decisions.

• Pick a career track (backend infra, embedded, blockchain, etc.) or propose your own.
• Validate scope, design clean abstractions, execute; push deeper only where it serves the goal (e.g., unsafe/FFI, distributed async, low-level perf).
• Detailed code/architecture reviews and scope guardrails.

3) Career Camp

Goal: turn Rust skills into interviews and job offers.

• Recruiter & hiring manager strategy (incl. warm intros when there’s a fit).
• Resume overhaul + LinkedIn/GitHub optimization.
• Interview coaching: screen-share walk-through (problem → design → trade-offs → numbers) + mocks.
• Salary/offer prep so you don’t leave money on the table.

Format & time
 

• Small cohort: ~25 students (instant feedback)
• Multiple live calls/week (+ recordings, catch-up sprints)
• Commitment: ~10–12 hrs/week (steady wins the race)
